Malta is committed to enhancing its growing aviation register and is keen on becoming a service leader in aviation, Tourism Minister Karmenu Vella said this morning.

Almost a third of the aircraft on this register are business aircraft. The government was committed to seeing this figure grow. Vella said Malta’s aviation history goes back almost a century and how the country now had one of the largest aviation registers in Europe. The nation has over 50 double taxation agreements in place and advantageous tax regimes for companies setting up shop in Malta.
