The Global Residence Programme Rules, Legal Notice 167 of 2013, as amended by Legal Notice 267 of 2014, (hereinafter the ‘Rules’) came into force with effect from 1st July 2013. The Rules apply to third-country nationals excluding EEA nationals or Swiss nationals (hereinafter ‘qualified persons’) who qualify for the special tax status.
