What Our Clients Are Saying...
For nearly 20 years, Integritas has been a leading provider of software for hospital employee health. The health and safety of hundreds of thousands of healthcare workers across the United States is overseen by our software. Our first product, Stix, tracked needle stick follow-up; hence the product name for which we have become known.
Here is what a few of our employee health clients have to say about their experiences with our company and our solutions... |

| I have been using Stix since 1992, and have watched the software grow over the years. We now have 3,200 employees; Integritas keeps adding the functions I need just when I have been asked to take on something else, it seems. One of the best uses of the program we have made is to track statistics regarding exactly where our injuries or exposures occurred. At one point, I was able to identify that we were having many needle sticks in the Operating Room. When the staff received some in-service, we watched the statistics go down. I couldn’t have done that without Stix. It’s made my work in Employee Health manageable, and it’s done so over a very long period of time. |

Sentara Healthcare is the largest integrated healthcare provider in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. We operate more than 100 care-giving sites, including seven acute care hospitals with a total of 1,728 beds. We have seven Employee Health clinics to serve them. We have been using the Stix Hospital Employee Health software since 1992.
It makes a big difference when we tell our employees that they can go to the nearest office convenient to them, and we have the information at that office. Our Williamsburg folks can see the same thing I can see in Norfolk, and it makes a big difference when you have employees that travel from one facility to another, to be able to have a continuity of care.
Stix makes the job easier for our staff at the various locations, especially because hard copy results are retained only by the employee's primary clinic. Yes, keeping the data clean and making sure it's entered correctly takes time, but as far as having the data available, it's made a big difference in our ability to get our jobs done. And the scanning function just makes our life so much easier! No more tracking down paper!
I would wholeheartedly recommend Stix to others. The software provides a lot of value and the technical support is outstanding. |

Tampa General is a level-1 trauma center and a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of South Florida. We currently have more than 900 beds and 5,900 employees. The employee health center where we use Stix is very comprehensive, and we have 17 staff, not counting the lift team. We have used Stix since 1992, over 16 years and we have now upgraded to Agility EHR.
One of the big advantages of Agility is that it allows you to customize so that you can get exactly the data you need for reporting. When I present to senior management, I’ll say, “Here’s how many patient handling injuries we have”, because those are the injuries that can be affected by the lift team, which helps justify the cost. We’ve been able to prove there’s been a decrease in these injuries. Agility helps us be very specific and drill down to such items as “moving patient from bed to stretcher”, “bed to wheelchair”, and so on, so we can see where and how injuries are occurring. We were having a lot of slipping injuries. So we used Agility to track it, and we pulled a report every month to see where these accidents were happening, by location, and we identified a trend in our OR based on that. Stix allows us to assess any data we need to, to identify trends in our injuries. We also use it for trending for BBP exposures. Agility also has very good reporting for managing exposures and follow-up.
So, I would say that the one of the best uses of Agility is that we can customize it ourselves as needed to track the data and pull the reports we need for our Quality and Safety and Infection Control and Exposure Task Force committees. It really allows us to customize and trend.
Scanning has probably been the biggest hit around here because we are going chart-less. It’s absolutely the best thing that has ever happened since sliced bread. We used to spend hours looking for charts, no one could find the chart, no one could find the lab work, nobody had time to file. Now, everything is scanned. Initially, people said, “Doesn’t that take time?” and it does. But once you get used to it, it actually doesn’t take much time. It takes less time than filing, for sure. We can create a pdf of the scanned image if we need to, and e-mail it to the manager, which takes a whole lot less time than finding the chart, copying the document, putting it in an inter-office envelope, someone has to take it through inter-office mail to the manager, who then has to take it out of the envelope, file it, etc. on her end. We don’t have to send any paper anymore, we are eliminating paper, which is not only better for the environment, it’s a lot more efficient. We also use the scanners to scan other things outside Agility, which is also a big help, things like articles. Once we got the scanners we found a whole lot of other uses for them.
A lot of people have come to see the software over the years, and I always give Stix and Agility two thumbs up. |

We installed Stix in 2002. What I love about the software is that it keeps me organized. It gives me my compliance rates at the click of a button. I also know who's gotten their vaccines, who's gotten their TB tests, who needs to be followed up for a blood and body fluid exposure. When I don't understand something or I don't know what to do, I just call Integritas and I get help. They understand what I'm talking about, and when I hang up the phone, I know exactly what to do.
Stix is a time-saver, and I don't know what I would do without it. I can't WAIT for flu shot season! Stix will tell me who I need to find, and who I need to get! |

Our hospital serves over 4,700 employees, volunteers, and students. We are all aware how employee health is predicated on timely and accurate employee surveillance, recordkeeping and our never-ending quest to meet regulatory requirements.
With its wide array of features and options, Stix allows me to effectively manage all aspects of our employee health program with ease and accuracy. I can honestly say since going "live" with Stix in 1992, it has more than exceeded our expectations! At any given moment of the day, I am able to provide "real-time" surveillance and compliance data during announced or unannounced surveys, inspections and audits that occur in our facility. This means never having to locate a chart or manually retrieve documents from an employee's health file: just a few keystrokes in Stix and I have what I need!
When it comes to data entry . . . the "quick-load" option is the feature most used and valued by staff. It has proven to be a huge timesaver especially in terms of entering TB skin tests, flu shots and during high volume activity in the clinic. Additionally, employees who request proof of their employment-related health information, truly appreciate how quickly we are able to provide them what they need by just printing it from Stix. They often say "I'll come back to pick it up . . . " but before they are able to finish their sentence, their information has been retrieved, printed and personally handed to them.
From a department perspective, Stix also allows our staff to manage employee surveillance, exposure protocols, incident tracking, and worker's compensation activities in a highly effective and automated manner. Compliance tracking, monitoring, employee reminders and reporting has never been easier. Stix enables our department to better meet the needs of those we serve. What a difference it has made for us! |

We’ve used Stix since 2001 and in 2007, we upgraded to Agility EHR. We have 5,200 employees. The surveillance function for new hires and periodic testing enables us to pull compliance reports, or see if there is some area that is lacking. For example, we can report TB test compliance, which is huge. Also, the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is now requiring that hospitals get 100% compliance for flu vaccines for employees and people who work in the medical center, which is huge numbers and huge programs, and being able to report those compliance percentages so easily is great. Just being able to report data for the infectious disease vaccine requirements has been a huge benefit, very important. We also brought on the electronic medical record last year, and the nurse practitioners have been able to have a more comprehensive medical report for workers' comp as a result.
Being able to send letters out from the system for multiple employee exposures has been very, very helpful, being able to track the follow-up as well. We’ve been scanning all our workers' comp forms and documents and then e-mail them as needed. This has been a real time-saver.
The training and support has been great. A trainer came out and helped us get started on the EMR. The team knows us and our needs, and we know them. The team has been great responding to us, we’re working well together. |

I have used Stix since early 2005, and what I like best about it is the tracking. I can easily find out who is due for what at any time. We use Stix primarily for tracking and recording immunizations, surveillance exams, fit tests, etc. It is perfectly suited for that. I work primarily with the students and faculty staff on campus.
I have two people who are trained to replace me when I am not in the office. It’s easy to train new people on Stix, they love it. Stix is very straightforward: I like the tabs, you work from one side of the screen to the other, and you know you aren’t forgetting anything if you just follow the tabs.
When we upgraded to the latest release, our IT guy wanted to update my server at the same time, so he spoke with Stix Support, talked over our situation, we went live, and I’ve not ever had a problem. As an end user, I have never had any issues that I have needed to call Support for. Stix does what I need it to do and it just works. I am very happy with the product, the management here is very happy with it, and our IT guys are very happy with it, too. Even the people who only use it when I go on vacation love it. It’s very straightforward and easy to use and understand. |
