A lot of mystery and misinformation surround EHR certification and the benefit it provides. Many people mistakenly think that if they are not eligible for reimbursement from the government under ARRA, certification adds no value and they don’t need to bother with it. Other providers may be eligible, but with little time to sort through the maze, they have ignored the opportunity.
